What we can offer



Berkshire Maestros provides music lessons in most schools across Berkshire, as well as at our local music centres in Reading, Caversham, Newbury, Windsor, Wokingham and Bracknell. Our Head Office is based in Reading.

We have a number of exciting vacancies for peripatetic teachers across Berkshire. We are looking for candidates to be appointed in violin, trumpet, brass, voice, early years (Mini Maestros), guitar, general woodwind and orchestral percussion.

Senior Leader – Curriculum and Early Years (Part-time at 60% FTE)

We have a Senior Leader vacancy to cover maternity for 12 months.  In addition to a relevant music qualification and experience, we are looking for someone who can take a lead with schools’ music advisory and consultancy work, supporting schools and music subject leaders at all key stages. You will be keen to promote high-quality curriculum progression in schools as well as delivering engaging and relevant CPD for schools’ staff.

Music Centre Receptionists (West/ East Berkshire)

Part-time/ term-time contract (33 weeks)

Berkshire Maestros seeks enthusiastic and committed Receptionists to provide excellent customer service at the busy and successful music centres that we run across the county each day of the week. The roles involve greeting and signing in students and teachers on arrival at the centre and answering customer queries.
