Lai King

Lai King is originally from Hong Kong and has always had a strong passion for music since childhood. Singing in the church choir and learning to play the piano formed much of her teenage years. Academically, Lai King studied at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Toronto and completed a Bachelor’s degree (Music) at Kingston University (UK).

Since Lai King determined to specialize in early childhood music, she has attended many courses and workshops to enhance her knowledge and even has a certificate in Orff Schulwerk Training from the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.

Lai King has spent her entire adult life as a music educator and has been a music teacher in primary school for more than 20 years. She strongly believes that music and movement are key elements to the early development of children which greatly enhance future developments in music, language, emotions and coordination.
